今日はクリスマスイブ。昨年からこの日を家族で迎えています。それまでの6年間は北海道教育大学釧路校での集中講座があり、釧路で、しかもクリスマスイブは回転寿しの「なごやか亭」でひとり寂しく食べていました。今日はどんな日になるのか、楽しみ（心配）です。

Yuletide carols being sung by a choir
And folks dressed up like Eskimos
Everybody knows a turkey and some
Mistletoe help to make the season bright
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
